Difference between Linux and Windows web hosting

There are 2 important operating system in field of offer services: Windows and Linux
Windows Web server is IIS and Linux web server is LiteSpeed, usually windows operating system is more expensive than the operating system of Linux because windows operating system is open source and using them is required to purchase of window server license from Microsoft. Meanwhile windows servers usually have more capabilities and support of Microsoft products on Web servers is an advantage. But Linux operating system is open source and free and for using from it, there is no need to pay for license, Linux operating system usually has a more security than the windows server and are being less than in treat.
